Do you think we'll see the deregulation and privatisation of electricity market markets we're seeing in the rest of Asia like Singapore, Japan and most recently Philippines?
My hope is that with the rise of solar panels you would get massive grid defection anyway which would motivate the government to privatise the utilities.

Possible, but not very likely. Governments in their fourth term in office aren't usually reformists.
